Sugar-free white chocolate - homemade
Make your own white chocolate without refined sugar: With yacon powder, cocoa butter, and coconut milk powder, you can create a creamy, plant-based alternative – simple, customizable in sweetness, and versatile.
Ingredients for approx. 6-8 servings
- 100 g cocoa butter
- 60 g coconut milk powder
- 20–30 g yacon powder (to desired sweetness)
- optional: vanilla, a pinch of salt
Preparation: How it always works
- Patiently melt cocoa butter
Melt in a double boiler over low heat, do not heat above 42–45 °C.
This keeps the mixture nice and smooth. - Sieve powders
Sieve coconut milk powder and yacon powder finely and stir in thoroughly.
⇾ No risk of lumps and a beautifully creamy consistency. - Optional refinement
Stir in vanilla or a small pinch of salt. - Pour and let set
Pour into silicone molds and chill for 1–2 hours (do not put in the freezer – this keeps the surface nice and smooth). - Remove and enjoy
Your mildly sweet, delicate white chocolate without added sugar is ready.
Tip: Before pouring, tap the mold briefly on the work surface to remove air bubbles and achieve a perfect surface.
