MSM powder, also known as methylsulfonylmethane, is an organic sulfur compound found in nature. This form of sulfur occurs naturally in small amounts in plants, in humans, and in animals, and is a component of muscles, bones, and skin, but it cannot be extracted. Therefore, MSM is obtained through a special manufacturing process, whereby the product is equivalent in its mode of action and molecular structure to naturally occurring MSM.
Through a distillation process, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is created, which is then converted into MSM. After filtration and crystallization, pure MSM remains, free of fillers, colorings, and preservatives, with a purity level of over 99%.
