Mulberries (Organic & Raw) 200 g

Mulberries or mulberry trees (Morus) are, like figs (Ficus), a plant genus in the mulberry family (Moraceae) and one of the oldest cultivated plants. They originate from China and are now grown in many warm countries in Europe, as they are enjoying increasing popularity. Thanks to their incomparable fruity-sweet honey aroma, they are growing in popularity. The appearance of the mulberry is reminiscent of elongated blackberries in shape, while the color can range from cream (white mulberry) to red to black depending on the variety.

Our organic white mulberries are gently dried after harvest in raw food quality, so that the valuable nutrients are preserved as best as possible.
The fruits ripen in a long harvest phase from July to August. They do not ripen on the tree all at the same time, but gradually, which makes it possible to harvest over several weeks. The harvest is rich and regular.

Our mulberries are gently dried away from moisture in pure mountain air in the Taurus Mountains at an altitude of approx. 1,300 m. Although they lose their color during drying, their sweet taste is intensified by the drying process, so that the fruits can also be used as a sugar substitute (e.g., in tea or muesli).

Our organic mulberries offer the ultimate dried fruit experience - guaranteed.
