Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is considered one of the most important herbs for women in Ayurveda. The name Shatavari means "she who possesses a hundred husbands," referring to the traditionally valued, balancing properties of the Shatavari plant, which is predominantly native to India.
For the production of our Shatavari powder, the roots are gently dried. This careful drying process preserves the full value of the plant as best as possible. The plant parts are then carefully ground into a fine powder.
In terms of taste, the Shatavari root is characterized by a mild, spicy note that goes well with both savory and sweet dishes and drinks.
