The time has finally come: RawKao Kids is our first chocolatey drink powder for little and big rascals.
Naturally, every ingredient wanted to be part of the recipe for a special product like this one. But only the finest and most delicious ones were to unite in this delightful drink mix with a gentle chocolate note. At first, there was quite a commotion at PureRaw in Klötze. But from the beginning...
First came the carob...
... Carob is the name given to the pulp of the brown pods that grow on the carob tree in the Mediterranean region. This carob knew its advantages very well. Not only did it have an aromatic, finely sweet caramel flavor, but unlike its colleague cocoa, it was also free of theobromine, less bitter, and not stimulating, which is why it considered itself particularly suitable for a delicious children's drink mix.
It didn't take long for the beautiful lucuma to join the carob... a sweet, golden-yellow fruit that ripens under the sun of South America. "In RawKao Kids, I can skillfully unfold my creamy, fruity vanilla aroma and give the drink mix its creaminess," the beautiful fruit asserted.
But the beautiful lucuma didn't have much time to present itself, for along came the yacón, who had been listening to the conversation....
"I, the yacón plant, am native to the Peruvian Andes. The lovely, sweet taste of my tubers is often compared to that of honey, caramel, or molasses. How delicious is that?? I am perfect for RawKao Kids!"
Suddenly, bittersweet cocoa also got wind of the matter and mingled with the crowd...
"I, cocoa, am not only known as the 'food of the gods,' but have always been popular with young and old due to my incomparable taste – whether as a chocolate bar or as a cocoa drink! So how can I be missing from RawKao Kids?? I contain less acid and bitter substances than conventional cocoa varieties, making me pleasantly mild in taste. So a small amount of my aroma should definitely be included..."
Then the strong maca root cheekily interrupted the cocoa and emphasized:
"I, the maca root, am a small, fiber-rich tuber that is native to the high altitudes of the Andes in Peru. The sweet malt taste of my root powder makes me a delicious addition to drinks, which is why I am an essential component of RawKao Kids. Not least, I form a harmonious duo with cocoa in terms of taste!"
... For a moment, it seemed as if some calm had finally returned, when a voice called out from the distance: "Wait a minute, not so fast...! I am vanilla, the queen of all spices, and without me, that certain something is missing! Only I, with my lovely scent, can put the final touch on the RawKao Kids drink mix!"
Thus, the various ingredients finally united peacefully into this delicious children's drink mix, as they realized that each ingredient was delicious in its own way and indispensable for enjoyment.
