Turmeric (Yellowroot/Tumerick): Slightly pungent with an earthy, resinous flavor

Turmeric is also called yellowroot and belongs to the ginger family. It is highly valued in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine, where it is used, among other things, as a base for spice mixtures (curries). Turmeric owes its popularity to its strong yellow color (curcumin), as well as its slightly sweet spiciness and woody-floral taste.

Description

Our turmeric is gently dried and ground into a fine powder, which preserves its natural ingredients as well as possible.

Turmeric is a true asset in the kitchen and refines almost any dish. Use it as a great spice for curries, soups, sauces, dips, vegetable, lentil and rice dishes, or even as a base for "golden milk".
