Yacon Snack (Organic & Raw) 80 g

The Yacón plant (Smallanthus sonchifolius) originates from the Andean highlands of Peru and is known for its edible "life roots," which have been valued by indigenous Andean peoples for centuries. Our Yacón Snack is made by carefully drying and slicing the root. The snack has a mild and fruity taste and is rich in natural fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS). FOS are prebiotic dietary fibers that can support the gut flora. They serve as food for beneficial bacteria in the gut and can thus promote the growth of these healthy microorganisms. It is an excellent alternative sweetener.

Tip: Our Yacón snack also tastes delicious in fruit salad.
