The spiciness perceived when consuming chilies is mainly caused by capsaicin. We use red chili peppers. These are dried and gently ground into a fine orange-red powder. It has a strong and very intense pungency (17,500 Scoville).

Even a small amount is suitable for seasoning dishes and giving them a fiery touch. It is excellent for sweet and savory dishes/drinks. For example, savory chocolate-chili sauce, fiery marinades, fruit salads, "golden milk," etc., get that "certain something extra."
