Reishi is a mushroom that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has revered for millennia. While the Reishi mushroom is also known in Japan as the "Mushroom of Immortality" or Ling Zhi, in Germany it is primarily known as "Glänzender Lackporling" (glossy ganoderma), which refers to its external appearance: The Reishi has a cap about 5-20 cm high, which sits on a (mostly) lateral stem. The fruiting body is a shimmering, reddish-brown color - like lacquer - with a white rim.

With its over 2000-year-old tradition within TCM, Reishi, like hardly any other vital mushroom, is surrounded by numerous myths. In China, it has long been valued as a natural food supplement and is even considered more valuable than ginseng. Only over time did the glossy ganoderma find its way into the Western world, so that it now enjoys steadily growing popularity.

For Reishi powder, the entire fruiting body is gently dried and then finely ground, so that the valuable ingredients are protected and preserved. Our Reishi powder comes from controlled organic cultivation and is free of additives and excipients.

The powder can be accurately dosed using the included measuring spoon.
